D&J Precision Plus Short Block Engine 03-07 Ram 5.9L Cummins

The Precision Plus short block from D&J Precision Machine is a remanufactured 5.9L Cummins bottom end for 2003-2007 Ram trucks. It is built to tighter tolerances and with more consistency than a typical reman engine. D&J places it between a stock rebuild and a performance build: suited to daily driving and towing, with room for future upgrades.

Build details

• Process: Fully remanufactured and CNC blueprinted
• Machining: Boring, honing and surfacing to restore critical tolerances to OEM specification or tighter
• Inspection: Every component checked for cracks, wear and dimensional accuracy
• Measured and corrected: Bearing clearances, piston-to-wall clearance, piston protrusion and ring gaps
• Assembly: Clean-room assembly with new internal components
• Pre-installed: Oil pan, oil cooler housing and timing cover

Before you order

Listed for 2003-2007 Ram trucks with the 5.9L Cummins. The oil pan, oil cooler housing and timing cover are already fitted, but the cylinder head and remaining external parts come from your existing engine or must be bought separately. Send us your VIN or engine code and we will confirm fitment before you order.
