The Johnson Duramax EARN is a brass-shell cutless bearing for propeller shafts. Its lining is a specially formulated nitrile rubber, resistant to oil and chemicals, bonded to the brass shell. It works in both strut and sterntube mounts and is also used as a rudder stock or pintle bushing. Duramax Marine makes these bearings in the USA.
