This IAG Performance 950 Series long block is a complete 2.35L destroked EJ25 crate engine, valve cover to valve cover, for the 2002-2014 WRX, 2004-2021 STI, 2004-2013 Forester XT and 2005-2009 Legacy GT. It joins the IAG 2.35L destroked closed deck short block with IAG 950 CNC ported heads. IAG rates it for up to 950 BHP and supplies every component new.

What's included

• Short block: Brand new Subaru EJ25 case halves converted to closed deck, bored and honed to 99.75mm
• Head sealing: Fire-Lock receiver groove machining with alloy compression shims; machined for 14mm head studs
• Pistons: JE 99.75mm FSR 2618 custom, JE Pro Seal ring set, .240" H13 tool steel wrist pins
• Rods and crank: Custom IAG-Spec +2mm H-Beam forged rods with ARP 625+ bolts; 2.0L FHI crankshaft
• Bearings and bolts: ACL race bearings; standard FHI Subaru case bolts
• Heads: Brand new Subaru OEM WRX STI castings, IAG CNC ported intake and exhaust runners, drilled for 14mm head studs, resurfaced, multi-angle valve job, machined cam lobe clearance, ultrasonic cleaning
• Valvetrain: GSC 37mm (+1mm) intake valves, GSC 33mm (+1mm) SuperAlloy exhaust valves, IAG-Spec beehive springs and retainers, GSC manganese guides, GSC valve stem seals, Kelford DLC-coated lifter buckets
• Camshafts: GSC Stage 2 billet, with final lash set
• Hardware: IAG / ARP 14mm head stud set; IAG Fire-Lock head gaskets; OEM valve cover gaskets, cam seals and valve covers; wrist pin seal, rear main seal and separator kit; crankshaft Woodruff key

Before you order

Compression, calculated with Fire-Lock gaskets, is 9.2:1 on D heads (EJ255) and 8.8:1 on B, V and W EJ257 heads. Manifolds, sensors, injectors and external accessories are not part of a long block and transfer from your current engine.
