About the Powerglide
The Powerglide is GM’s two-speed automatic, first offered in the 1950s. Its simple design, light weight and low internal power loss made it a long-time favorite in drag racing, where racing units are built with stronger aftermarket internals. The unit we list is an East Coast Supercharging Powerglide conversion for the C5 Corvette.
