Trolling motor mounts and brackets: Shuttle Slide rotating gunwale mounts that let a long-shaft bow-mount trolling motor ride along the gunwale of a larger boat and swing out to the right angle for deployment. Most bow-mount trolling motors come with their own bow mount; these brackets are for boats where a bow mount does not suit.

Which trolling motor mount do you need?
- Bow mount: the standard mount supplied with bow-mount trolling motors, bolted to a flat area of the bow deck. See how to install a trolling motor.
- Quick-release plate: lets you lift the motor and mount off the boat while leaving a base plate behind; sold by the motor makers and others.
- Rotating gunwale mount: for larger offshore boats where a long-shaft motor on the bow would crowd the deck or block the view. The Shuttle Slide SS-7.5R and SS-9.5R swivel to set the deployment angle and help keep the right gap between the shaft and the rub rail; their listings say they are aimed at high-thrust motors with shafts over 100 inches.
