On most US-market Chevy, GMC, Ford, Dodge and Ram vehicles the eighth character of the VIN identifies the engine, and GM’s RPO label also lists it. Send us your VIN and we will confirm the right engine before you order.
Should I buy a short block, long block or complete engine?
A short block reuses your cylinder heads and most external parts; a long block adds the heads and valvetrain; a complete engine package includes more of the parts around it. See short block vs long block.
